RAHL1 heads into a new season. Will HK Petržalka defend the double?

RAHL1 opens the new season on Saturday, 5 September at 8:30 with the game Mad Vipers – Wild Thing Karaoke, and all the teams will be in action on that single game day.

Last year belonged to HK Petržalka: they dominated the regular season and beat Wild Hogs 2:1 in games in the playoff final, winning the deciding third game 2:0. The individual king of the season was Alex Ftáčnik of Black Jokers — 51 points (33+18) in seventeen games left the competition far behind him.

Nine teams will take part in the new season. White Sharks Bratislava are leaving the competition after last season — thank you for the games played, and we wish you all the best in your next hockey steps.

What is there to look forward to? Wild Hogs will want to make up for their loss in the final, Black Jokers trust that Ftáčnik's scoring barrage will continue, and on 6 February 2027 the league gets its Winter Classic under the open sky: Mad Vipers – Wild Hogs.
