New on the website: goaltender ranking

Until now, the website mainly allowed you to compare skaters – by points, goals and assists. From now on every league also has a goaltender ranking. In it you'll find the number of games, goals against, time played, average goals against per game and per minute, minutes without allowing a goal, penalty minutes and an overall rating.

How is the rating calculated? The greatest weight goes to goals against per 60 minutes, followed by time played and penalty minutes. The more minutes a goaltender plays, the more the rating trusts him – so one good game is not enough for first place.

Ranking leaders after Round 4:
RAHL1 – Tomáš Pék (Wild Thing Karaoke): 4 games, 4 goals against
RAHL2 – Richard Kazík (Alpha Hockey Team): 4 games, 8 goals against
RAHL3 – Matej Berenčík (TJ Družstevník Petržalka): 4 games, 4 goals against

The ranking is updated together with the other statistics after every round. You'll find it in the menu Statistics → Goaltenders for each league.
