In the standings, a 0:4 result looks like a routine win for the favorite. But the game sheet from the RAHL1 Round 5 meeting between Neanderthals and HK Petržalka has a peculiarity: the same name appears next to all four of the visitors' goals. Ľubomír Patlevič, a 26-year-old forward wearing number 74, scored every one of his team's goals on Saturday, 3 October. The shutout was secured by goaltender Marek Ivan.
How the goals were scored
After the first half the scoreboard read 0:1. The rest came in quick succession after the break:
- 16:34 – 0:1, assist Peter Benovič
- 28:34 – 0:2, assists Dávid Chachalák and Jozef Krafčák
- 31:11 – 0:3, assists Dávid Chachalák and Peter Benovič
- 33:56 – 0:4, assist Jozef Krafčák
Only five minutes and 22 seconds passed between the second and fourth goals – a natural hat trick in a single half. What's more, the fourth goal came 53 seconds after his teammate Jiří Cibulya went to the penalty box. And according to the game sheet, HK Petržalka dressed only seven skaters, so Patlevič logged more than enough skating on the ice.
Only four players have scored four goals in a game this season
Dozens of games have been played in the three RAHL competitions since the start of the season, but a player has scored four goals in one of them only four times:
- Raduz Hrubý (Hockey for all, RAHL3) – 4 goals and 2 assists in a 9:0 win in Round 2
- Jozef Krafčák (HK Petržalka, RAHL1) – 4 goals and 2 assists in an 11:0 win in Round 4
- Jiří Cibulya (HK Petržalka, RAHL2) – 4 goals in a 10:1 win in Round 4
- Ľubomír Patlevič (HK Petržalka, RAHL1) – 4 goals in a 4:0 win in Round 5
Three of the four wear the HK Petržalka jersey. Patlevič's entry stands out among them because it was not a lopsided win in which half the team got on the score sheet – apart from him, nobody scored in the game.
Five goals in three games
So far this season he has played in three of his team's four games. In Round 1 he had an assist in the 3:1 win over Black Jokers, in Round 2 he scored HK Petržalka's only goal in a 1:3 loss to leader Wild Thing Karaoke, and now he has added four. In the games he has played in, HK Petržalka scored eight goals – he scored five of them and assisted on a sixth. With five goals he shares first place among RAHL1 goal scorers with Lukáš Opath of AHC Pezinok Ducks.

The champion's top scorer last season
It comes as no surprise. In the 2025/26 season, which HK Petržalka capped with the title after a final series against Wild Hogs (2:1, 1:2, 2:0), Patlevič played 14 games and collected 39 points on 20 goals and 19 assists. Nobody on the team scored more goals or earned more points, even though several teammates played seven or eight more games. He scored a hat trick twice that season – against Wild Thing Karaoke and against AHS. Four goals in a single game is his new league high.
Second place and what comes next
After five rounds HK Petržalka are second with six points from four games and a 19:4 goal difference – nobody in RAHL1 has allowed fewer goals. Wild Thing Karaoke are on top with ten points from five games. The sixth round offers a direct battle for second place: on Saturday, 10 October at 12:15 HK Petržalka host Uličníci, who also have six points from four games.
After the game the league filmed a short interview with Patlevič, in which Andrea Risianová asks him about the recipe for a performance like this – you can find the video on RAHL's Facebook page. The game sheet and a recording of the game are on the game page.
