RAHL3 Fans' Player of Round 5: Lubo Maxián

The fan vote for the player of round 5 in RAHL3 is closed, and it was decided by a single vote. The Fans' Player of the Round is Lubo Maxián of Rockets, who received seven of the seventeen votes. Right behind him came his teammate Andrej Štefko with six.

Both played in the game that left the biggest mark on the round five statistics: Rockets beat Pressburg Reapers 13:0. Maxián scored a goal and assisted on another in that game, and Štefko had three assists. Rockets players thus received thirteen of the seventeen votes.

Third was Marian Rozemberg of HC Vikings Petržalka with three votes. In the game against Márna Snaha, which ended 5:5, he had a 2+1 line – and he is the player the league picked as the Player of Round 5. One vote went to Dusan Sas of HC Bratislava Black Wings (1+1 in the 3:1 win over Ľadoborci).

Who didn't get a vote. Once again, the fans did not simply copy the scoring race. The most productive players of the round were Matej Murcko (1+3) and Tomáš Koštál (0+4) of Rockets, and their teammate Miroslav Wieger scored a hat trick – none of them received a vote.

What the numbers say. RAHL3 is the league with the most interest in voting: seventeen votes is more than RAHL1 (six) and RAHL2 (four) combined. Still, 229 players took the ice in the round, so there is plenty of room to grow. The first ten votes came in during the first afternoon after voting opened.

Voting on round six is already underway. Voting is open until Saturday, October 17, at 13:30, when round seven begins with the HC Vikings Petržalka – Beers game. Four votes have come in so far, and Lubo Maxián leads again with two; one vote each has gone to Peter Demeter of Rockets, who collected six points (3+3) against Márna Snaha, and Tomaš Filak of HC Lev Senec, who scored four goals against AHC Pezinok Grapes.

How to vote. Voting takes place on the Player of the Round page. Every logged-in fan has one vote per league per round. Starting Monday, October 12, we will set up voting with no registration required – confirming your vote through a confirmation e-mail will be enough. The Fans' Player of the Round is whoever gets more votes than anyone else; if there is a tie at the top, the title is not awarded.
