Pack your bag, RAHL is flying to New York! See the full programme of a once-in-a-lifetime hockey trip
Guys, this is no rumour from the snack bar after a Sunday game. The partnership between the Ružinov Amateur Hockey League (RAHL) and the sports travel agency SuperFanúšik.sk is taking real shape, and we are putting a done deal in front of you. In January 2027 we swap the Ružinov ice for the concrete jungle of Manhattan, and you can be part of it. We have prepared an exclusive joint trip that combines top-class hockey, iconic sights and a genuine league of extraordinary gentlemen. Gentlemen, we are off to New York!

When we announced the partnership with Dušan Macák – a big-hearted player in our RAHL 3 with TJ Družstevník Petržalka, and the man behind SuperFanúšik.sk – we promised it would bear fruit for the whole community. And here is the result. Together we have tailor-made a trip you will be talking about for years.
How do the money and the vouchers work?
The base price of this six-day madness, which takes place from 6 to 12 January 2027, is set at 1 490 € per person. The price includes a return flight from Vienna and strategically chosen accommodation in a proven 3-star hotel with breakfast right in Manhattan. You are always at the centre of the action. Note! This price is valid only until the end of October; in November it will already be 1 590 €!
But wait, here comes the best part for the grafters on the ice! If you played your heart out and won a 200 € Player of the Month voucher, you can cut this amount down nicely. The vouchers are incredibly flexible. A single 200-euro voucher can be split between two people. If your dressing room has several vouchers, the guys at SuperFanúšik will happily combine them for you, so the final price can drop considerably.
And don't forget the new award: if the fans vote you Superfanúšik Player of the Round in the online poll, you get a 100-euro voucher. The winner simply redeems this credit for themselves. So the equation is simple – the more you score on the ice and entertain the fans, the cheaper New York gets.
Game itinerary: what awaits us across the pond?
We won't just leave you wandering the streets. SuperFanúšik has put together a programme with something for the hockey connoisseur, the film-location fan and the crew who like to sit down for a well-earned beer after a day on their feet.
6 January (Wednesday): Arrival and the first beer
Meeting point, departure from Vienna and landing in the city that never sleeps. Right after arrival, organised transport takes us straight to the hotel. Over the welcome dinner, our guide will explain all the important "rules of the game" – how to find your way around, where to go and where to shop best. After checking in, we will get to know the area over a shared, closely watched first American beer.
7 January (Thursday): Skyscrapers and film classics
In the morning we kick off in style at the Summit One Vanderbilt observation deck. From a height of 363 metres you get a 360-degree view of all of New York that will make your jaw drop. Then we take on the famous 5th Avenue – the ice rink at Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Trump Tower and, of course, the Plaza Hotel and Central Park. Yes, exactly the places where Kevin ran from the Wet Bandits in Home Alone 2. In the evening we head along the illuminated Broadway to the buzzing Times Square. On the way we grab a slice at the famous Joe's Pizza (where the film Spider-Man delivered pizza from) and finish the evening at the renowned Hard Rock Cafe.
8 January (Friday): Gameday! Bedard live
After breakfast we take a walk along the High Line – an old elevated railway turned into a park – and see the Hudson Yards district and the artificial island of Little Island on the Hudson River. A quick bite at the famous Chelsea Market follows.
And then it comes! The highlight of the programme. We swap the Ružinov rink for a pro arena and enjoy a live NHL game in which the New Jersey Devils take on the Chicago Blackhawks. This will be a hockey feast where we will see a generational talent, Connor Bedard, with our own eyes.

9 January (Saturday): The Statue of Liberty and Manhattan by night
In the morning we board the ferry to Staten Island, which means a great cruise right past the Statue of Liberty and a chance to break the piggy bank at the Empire Outlets shopping centre. Then, via City Hall, we walk across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge to the well-known Dumbo viewpoint. When darkness falls, we hop back on a boat and sail under the Manhattan Bridge all the way to the Empire State Building. Anyone with energy left can choose a free programme – for example a visit to the famous Radio City Music Hall or the Avenue of the Americas.
10 January (Sunday): Wall Street and wings at the pub
We will see where the biggest money in the world changes hands – Wall Street. We won't miss the modern Oculus shopping centre, and we will stop respectfully at the WTC memorial. The afternoon is free for your own or smaller group plans. Foodies can queue for the legendary pastrami at Katz's Delicatessen or pop over to the subway museum in Brooklyn. In the evening we have the Brickyards pub reserved for the whole crew. Two beers and a proper portion of American chicken wings for everyone are included in the price. This is where all the highlights of the trip will be discussed!
11 January (Monday): A Czech touch to finish
Our last day in Manhattan. Since we only leave for the airport in the afternoon, you have free time to catch up on everything you missed. Anyone who wants can take the cable car to Roosevelt Island. Our luggage will wait safely at the hotel. We put the final full stop on the American dream symbolically – with a joint lunch in a genuine Czech restaurant, where they will pour us original Pilsner. Full of memories, we then head to the airport and fly back to Vienna in the evening.
12 January (Tuesday): Back to reality
We land in Vienna in the morning, from where joint transport takes us straight to Bratislava. You can sleep off the jet lag at home, but the memories of this trip will stay with you for the rest of your life.
This is not just a hockey trip – it is the ultimate team-building for our whole RAHL community. Join us, get your teammates fired up and experience New York with everything that goes with it. If you are interested, sign up, because places on this legendary trip will go faster than Stanley Cup Final tickets! You can sign up directly with SuperFanúšik – by e-mail at info@superfanusik.sk or via the contact page on superfanusik.sk.
Important note on the programme: Since January in New York can be unpredictable, the organiser reserves the right to change or adjust individual items of the programme for operational reasons or depending on current conditions. Flexibility is key, but we guarantee you will not miss any top experience, and in the event of changes there will always be an alternative that is at least as attractive.
