RAHL2 after four rounds: it's tight at the top
After four rounds RAHL2 is the most evenly matched SZALH competition. Uličníci lead with 6 points even though their goal difference is level at 11:11 – three narrow wins made the difference: 5:3 against Lions, 3:2 against Hockey for all and 2:1 against the defending champion. Their only loss was 1:5 to Alpha Hockey Team.
A point behind them is the trio of HK Petržalka, TJ Družstevník Petržalka and Alpha Hockey Team. HK Petržalka have the best goal difference in the competition (19:6) and took Trnava Beast apart 10:1 in the last round. Defending champion TJ Družstevník have lost only once so far – to Uličníci. And Alpha, sixth in last year's regular season, are among the biggest surprises: they have allowed only 8 goals, and their goaltender Richard Kazík leads the RAHL2 goaltender ranking.
Just behind the top, with four points each, are Hockey for all and HC Senec, so the order can change after every round. Trnava Beast, who have yet to pick up a point, remain at the bottom for now.
Scoring leaders (after Round 4): Tomáš Jevčik (HK Petržalka) 7 points (3+4), Christian Badalov (Uličníci) and Tomáš Šimek (Hockey for all) 6 points each (3+3).
Round 5 – Sunday, 4 October:
8:30 HC Senec – TJ Družstevník Petržalka
9:45 Lions – Hockey for all
11:00 Alpha Hockey Team – HK Petržalka
12:15 Uličníci – Trnava Beast
The marquee game of the round is Alpha – HK Petržalka, in which two teams with five points meet.
