RAHL3 at full speed: Admirals and Grapes yet to drop a point
Group A: Defending champion Admirals are picking up where they left off last year. They have won all four games with a 22:3 goal difference and beat Márna Snaha 10:1 in the last round. Right behind them are TJ Družstevník Petržalka with 7 points and no losses. On the other hand, Knights, who finished third in the group last season, and Beers are still without a point.
Group B: At the top are AHC Pezinok Grapes with four wins – even though last year they finished only fourth in the group, with 7 wins from 22 games. Two of their wins were by a single goal (5:4 against Black Wings, 3:2 against Alpha). Second are Rockets, last year's group winners and playoff finalists (7 points, goal difference 21:5). HC Bratislava Black Wings have made a big leap: last in Group A a year ago, they now have three wins from four games.
Newcomer Vikings are learning fast. The competition's only newcomer, HC Vikings Petržalka, had a tough start – Rockets (2:8), Hockey for all (0:9) and TJ Družstevník (2:6) were all too much for them. In Round 4, however, the Vikings earned a 2:2 tie with Pressburg Reapers and picked up their first point in RAHL3. They get another chance on Sunday against Márna Snaha.
Scoring leaders (after Round 4): four players have 9 points each – Daniel Mrva (Grapes) 5+4, Raduz Hrubý (Hockey for all) 5+4, Ivan Havelka (Hockey for all) 3+6 and Patrik Bučič (Admirals) 3+6.
Marquee game of Round 5: on Sunday, 4 October at 13:30, AHC Pezinok Grapes – Admirals. Two teams that have yet to drop a single point will meet.
